A Resource for Pests and Diseases of Cultivated Palms is a website to support organizations and individuals involved with serveillance, detection, and monitoring of pests and diseases associated with cultivated palms.  The website features fact sheets with disease and disorder descriptions, and an interactive key for identification of palm problems using visual symptoms.  Some commonly confused types of insect damage are included.  In the key, common language terms are used to encourage use by a wider audience.  The key provides photographs of live specimens to support identification.  A glossery is provided to assist in understanding the specialized botanical terminology.  An illustrated guide to palm anatomy is provided.
